TOPIC: PRAISE IS A WEAPON OF VICTORY PART 1

Devotional Reading: Psalm 67:1-7

Memorize: For the weapons of our warefare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:4

Praise is not just a charismatic way of feeling good, neither is it a religious system of waiting for people to arrive in church. Praise is a weapon of warfare that propels change and obtains victory for us. Praise is a means through which divine intervention is provoked and by which God takes over your battle.The conquest of Jericho was a classic example of victory through praise.
Looking at the robust built and fortified structure of the walls, the only weapon that could have penetrated the fortified fence, won the battle and obtain victory was praise.

Praising God is our primary purpose on earth, He created us for His pleasure and one of the pleasures of God is to praise Him. It has been said that the deeper you are committed to praising God, the higher He takes you. Show me a man that praises, and I will show you a man that has things working perfectly. Let me bring this to your memory, praise is the food of God. God enjoys the praises of his people, that is why He inhabits it. If you as a man are being denied of food for some days, what will your reaction be? I’m sure you will be so angry and displeased with whoever denied you of your food. The only one thing that God eats, is praise and as common as it sound, it is a force that causes multiplication and wins a battle.

The power of praise can be seen clearly from our devotional reading of today: Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. Psalms 67:5-6. When the praises go up, the blessings come down, angels are removed from the assignment, God himself show up and descend.

Whenever you praise God, you get God committed to what He has said in His word. If you want God to move in your favour this year, the remaining 2 months in 2019 is too much time for God to win that battle for you and turn things around in your life, that miracle can still happen if you give God a fearful and quality praise. If you want to experience supernatural increase in your business by the end of this year, then engage the force of praise. Throw yourself loose in the praise of His name like David, release your dignity, praise Him like no mans business. Don’t be a spectator or observer in church while others are singing, dancing and praising God, rather, join others to praise God, and then, will you see His amazing acts in your life.

I pray for you, that the power of praise will work out your victory today in Jesus name.

Prayer point: O LORD my father, let my sacrifice of praise obtain victory for me in Jesus name.

Key Dose: Nothing can stand in the way of the force of praise unto God.
